Quick Fix: Disqus Comment System Shows No Comment Count
Disqus is a great alternative to the built-in WordPress commenting system. On the page you display your posts you may run into the problem of the comment counts not displaying properly.
The Problem: JavaScript Complications
Sometimes when you load a number of JavaScript files in the header of your page it will cause conflicts. This may cause some of your scripts to not work, such as Disqus.
The Fix: Move JavaScripts to Footer
Don’t worry, this is a no code approach. Go to your Disqus options panel under the Comments section in your WordPress backend:

Next, click on “Advanced Options”:

Comment Counts: “Load JavaScript in Footer”
A few options down you should see the Comment Counts option. Checking this option will output JavaScript in the Footer.

Check this if you have problems with the comment count displays, permalinks issues, broken featured image carousels, or longer-than-usual homepage load times.
Bam, no more “View Comments” and now the actual comment counts display.
Why Disqus?
Using the Disqus WordPress plugin is easy to install and requires no code. It’s a great plugin for any website and is the best in it’s class for online social commenting.
